Overview
DK710 is an engineered cytokine fusion protein developed by DEKA Biosciences using its proprietary Diakine platform. It is designed to treat various solid cancers by targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), which is frequently overexpressed in tumor cells. The Diakine platform involves coupling specific cytokines to a single-chain variable fragment (scFv) targeting system, allowing for the precise delivery of cytokine-based immunotherapy directly to the tumor microenvironment. This approach aims to enhance therapeutic efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity and improving the manufacturability of complex cytokine combinations. DK710 is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
