Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DKK13-76-LP is a synthetic long peptide (LP) vaccine derived from human Dickkopf-1 (DKK1), a protein broadly expressed by tumor cells in multiple myeloma and other cancers but absent from most normal tissues. The peptide spans amino acids 3-76 of DKK1 (74 amino acids) and contains epitopes capable of binding to all major MHC class I and II molecules, enabling induction of both CD4+ T-helper and CD8+ cytotoxic T cell responses. Preclinical studies demonstrated that immunization with DKK13-76-LP elicits robust DKK1-specific immune responses and functional anti-DKK1 antibodies in mice and human ex-vivo systems, suggesting potential for immunotherapy in multiple myeloma and other cancer types.
