Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DLL3 CAR-T is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy being developed by JW Therapeutics for the treatment of small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The therapy is engineered to target Delta-like ligand 3 (DLL3), a Notch pathway ligand that is highly and specifically expressed on the surface of SCLC cells and other neuroendocrine tumors, while remaining largely absent in healthy tissues. By directing T cells to recognize DLL3, the therapy aims to induce targeted cytotoxicity against tumor cells. As of early 2024, the program is in the preclinical stage of development, representing part of JW Therapeutics' expansion into solid tumor indications.
