Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DLQ03 is a differentiated topical drug candidate developed by Dermaliq Therapeutics. It is designed to accelerate wound healing and prevent secondary infections, supporting the injured skin barrier. The drug targets burn wounds as well as artificial wounds resulting from aesthetic procedures such as lasers, chemical peels, injections, and surgery. DLQ03 has demonstrated superior efficacy in accelerating wound healing—achieving 20-25% faster recovery compared to vehicle—in Phase 2 human studies. It is also described as a broad-spectrum liquid antibiotic for the topical treatment of bacterial skin and soft tissue infections, including those caused by antibiotic-resistant strains. Its main clinical focus appears to be complicated skin and soft tissue infections—including those involving resistant bacteria—and support of post-procedural or burn-related skin repair.
