Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DLX-2323 is a single-chain variable fragment (scFv) antibody designed as a potent and selective inhibitor of interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β). Originally developed by Delenex Therapeutics (later acquired by Cell Medica) and currently in the pipeline of Arrivo BioVentures, DLX-2323 is engineered to modulate the activity of IL-1β, a key cytokine involved in various inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. As an scFv, the molecule is significantly smaller than a full-length monoclonal antibody, which facilitates superior tissue penetration and potentially allows for alternative delivery methods or improved efficacy in sequestered inflammatory sites. The drug's development status is currently listed as pending for unspecified inflammatory conditions.
