Overview

DMRA-301 is a preclinical biologic candidate, specifically a monoclonal antibody, being developed by Damora Therapeutics for the treatment of myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs), such as essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis. The drug is designed to selectively target the mutant form of calreticulin (CALR), which is characterized by a unique C-terminal neoepitope. In CALR-mutant MPNs, this mutant protein binds to and constitutively activates the thrombopoietin receptor (MPL), driving malignant cell proliferation. By binding to mutant CALR, DMRA-301 aims to disrupt the CALR-MPL interaction and eliminate mutant clones. Damora Therapeutics expects to file an Investigational New Drug (IND) application for its CALR-targeting programs in 2026.
