**DNA-polyethylenimine idiotypic vaccine** is a personalized therapeutic cancer vaccine designed for patients with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It consists of a plasmid DNA encoding a patient-specific single-chain variable fragment (scFv) or idiotype, fused to an immunostimulatory gene (either potato virus X coat protein [PVXCP] or human chemokine MIP3α), and is delivered as a complex with linear polyethylenimine (PEI, synthetic polymer, commonly 8 or 20 kDa) to enhance in vivo transfection and antigen expression. The vaccine aims to elicit both humoral and cellular immune responses by improving DNA uptake and presenting lymphoma-specific antigens. Phase I trials have reported endpoints of safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity in several histological subtypes of B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma[1][2][3][5].
