Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DNF-10 is a multi-ingredient dietary supplement combination consisting of L-carnitine tartrate, dihydrocapsiate, and protein yeast hydrolysate, developed for weight management and the treatment of obesity. The formulation utilizes a multi-pathway approach to weight loss: protein yeast hydrolysate (derived from *Saccharomyces cerevisiae*) promotes satiety by modulating appetite-regulating hormones such as ghrelin and cholecystokinin; dihydrocapsiate, a non-pungent capsinoid, stimulates energy expenditure through the activation of TRPV1 receptors and thermogenesis; and L-carnitine tartrate supports fatty acid metabolism by facilitating the transport of long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria for beta-oxidation. The product has been evaluated in clinical trials to assess its impact on body composition, energy intake, and metabolic rate in overweight individuals.
