DNS-3379

DNS-3379 is an oral small molecule drug that acts as a selective allosteric inhibitor of phosphodiesterase 4 subtype D (PDE4D). It was initially developed by Dart NeuroScience and later associated with Enthorin Therapeutics and Mirum Pharmaceuticals. The primary mechanism involves inhibition of PDE4D, which is implicated in the regulation of cyclic nucleotide signaling pathways relevant to neurological and vascular disorders. The drug was investigated for its potential to improve upper extremity motor recovery following ischemic stroke but development for this indication has been discontinued after reaching Phase 2 clinical trials[1][2][3].
