Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DNV3 is a human monoclonal antibody targeting lymphocyte activation gene 3 (LAG-3, also known as CD223). It functions as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by blocking LAG-3, thereby enhancing T cell activation and anti-tumor immune responses. The drug exerts its effects through mechanisms including inhibition of the CD223 antigen (LAG-3), stimulation of T lymphocytes, and antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity (ADCC). Developed by Zhejiang Shimai Pharmaceutical, DNV3 is being investigated primarily for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors and lymphoma. Clinical trials are ongoing in China for these indications, with additional early-phase studies in multiple sclerosis[1][2][7].
