A combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of **docetaxel**, **cisplatin**, and **cyclophosphamide**. Used investigationally and off-protocol as a multi-agent cytotoxic therapy, mainly in the treatment of breast cancer (especially triple-negative breast cancer), and potentially in other advanced or metastatic solid tumors. - **Docetaxel** is a semisynthetic taxane that promotes and stabilizes microtubule assembly, preventing cell division and leading to cancer cell death. - **Cisplatin** is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic that causes DNA crosslinking and apoptosis. - **Cyclophosphamide** is an alkylating agent causing DNA damage through covalent bonding and crosslinking DNA strands, which also leads to apoptosis. Each agent has a distinct mechanism, targeting cancer cells at different stages of the cell cycle or by different cytotoxic mechanisms, leading to additive or synergistic antitumor effects. Combination regimens using docetaxel and cyclophosphamide are established for breast cancer, while platinum compounds such as cisplatin further enhance cytotoxicity and are used in regimens for breast and other solid tumors[1][2].
