Overview

A combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of docetaxel, trastuzumab, and vinorelbine. This three-drug combination is used primarily for the treatment of HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer. In clinical trials, it has demonstrated high activity as first-line therapy with response rates of 68%, including 27% complete responses. The median progression-free survival was 12 months, and median overall survival was 40.8 months. However, the regimen is associated with significant neutropenia, requiring dose modifications in many patients. Despite its efficacy, studies suggest it offers no clear advantages over less myelosuppressive trastuzumab-containing regimens.
