Dolaut

Dolaut is a brand name for diclofenac sodium, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with potent analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. It functions as a small molecule inhibitor of the enzymes cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), thereby blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are key mediators of pain and inflammation. Dolaut is available in several formulations, most notably a 4% topical gel spray, as well as tablets and ophthalmic solutions. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic painful and inflammatory conditions, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, migraine, and musculoskeletal injuries affecting joints, tendons, and ligaments.
