Dolofen

Dolofen is a brand name used for several analgesic and anti-inflammatory pharmaceutical products. Most commonly, it refers to formulations containing ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes to reduce the production of prostaglandins. Specific products include Dolofen A, a combination of ibuprofen, paracetamol (acetaminophen), and magnesium trisilicate, and Dolofen Suspension, a pediatric combination of ibuprofen and paracetamol. In some regions, the name is also associated with diclofenac. These medications are primarily indicated for the relief of pain, fever, and inflammation associated with conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.
