Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dologel is an over-the-counter (OTC) gingival massage gel designed for the relief of oral discomfort. Developed and manufactured by Laboratoire Gilbert, it is formulated as a medical device containing natural plant-based active ingredients: valerian extract (5%), chamomile extract (5%), and propolis (5%). It is primarily indicated for soothing infants during teething and treating mouth irritations, lesions, and wounds caused by dental appliances or food. The gel leverages the anti-inflammatory properties of chamomile, the calming effects of valerian, and the local analgesic and antibacterial actions of propolis. Tested under pediatric control, the product is alcohol-free and sugar-free, making it safe for developing teeth and suitable for individuals of all ages.
