Overview
Renantos (Donepezilo Renantos) is an orodispersible film formulation of donepezil, a reversible, non-competitive acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. Developed by Applied Pharma Research (APR) and tesa Labtec using their proprietary RapidFilm® technology, this formulation is designed to dissolve rapidly in the oral cavity without the need for water, facilitating easier administration and improved compliance in geriatric patients with swallowing difficulties. It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe dementia associated with Alzheimer's disease.
