Overview

Donitabart (BCD-245) is an anti-GD2 monoclonal antibody developed by Biocad for the treatment of neuroblastoma and other GD2-expressing tumors, including osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, and soft tissue sarcoma. It targets the disialoganglioside GD2 antigen on tumor cells and exerts its antineoplastic effects primarily through antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), leading to the destruction of GD2-positive cancer cells. The drug is administered intravenously and is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials for relapsed/refractory neuroblastoma[1][2][3][4].
