Donor-derived multi-antigen-specific T cells is an investigational adoptive cell therapy developed by Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). The therapy utilizes MHC I-Streptamer (reversible HLA multimer) technology to simultaneously isolate multiple populations of donor-derived CD8-positive T cells specific for viral antigens (cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus, and adenovirus), tumor-associated antigens (TAA), and minor histocompatibility antigens (MiHA). This GMP-compliant procedure allows for the prophylactic infusion of these T cells approximately 6–8 weeks after T-cell-depleted allogeneic stem cell transplantation. The primary goal is to provide broad-spectrum immunity to prevent both viral infections and disease relapse in patients with hematological malignancies, such as leukemia.
