Donor NK cells (Peking University First Hospital) is an adoptive cell therapy consisting of non-genetically modified natural killer (NK) cells derived from healthy donors. This investigational therapy is being developed by Peking University First Hospital for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) relapse in patients who have undergone allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). The treatment regimen involves the intravenous infusion of donor NK cells in combination with low-dose interleukin-2 (IL-2). The co-administration of IL-2 is intended to support the survival, proliferation, and activation of the infused NK cells, which exert anti-leukemic effects by directly identifying and lysing AML blasts through the release of cytotoxic granules containing perforin and granzymes.
