Doramapimod is a small molecule inhibitor of p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK), specifically targeting the α, β, and γ isoforms. It acts as an immunomodulator by inhibiting the production of proinflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) and interleukin 1 beta (IL‑1β). Doramapimod has been investigated for its anti-inflammatory effects in diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, and psoriasis.
