Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dositinib mesylate is an orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), developed by Henan Genuine Biotech Co., Ltd. It is specifically designed to target EGFR mutations in patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). By inhibiting the tyrosine kinase activity of mutated EGFR, dositinib blocks downstream signaling pathways that drive tumor cell proliferation and survival. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials to determine its safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy as a monotherapy and in combination with other agents such as GEN-725.
