Doxitinib is a novel, orally active, multi-target tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) developed by Henan Genuine Biotech. It is designed to inhibit tumor growth and angiogenesis by targeting several key signaling pathways, specifically the vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR), platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFR), and the mast/stem cell growth factor receptor (c-Kit). By blocking these receptors, doxitinib disrupts the signaling cascades necessary for the formation of new blood vessels that supply tumors and inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells. The drug is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, with a particular focus on patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) who have failed standard therapies.
