Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a chemotherapy combination containing doxorubicin, bleomycin, vinblastine, dacarbazine, and methylprednisolone. It appears to be a modified version of the standard ABVD regimen (which contains only doxorubicin, bleomycin, vinblastine, and dacarbazine) with the addition of methylprednisolone, a corticosteroid. The standard ABVD regimen is commonly used for treating Hodgkin lymphoma. These chemotherapy drugs destroy quickly dividing cells, such as cancer cells.
