Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of three chemotherapy drugs used in the treatment of lymphomas. Doxorubicin is an anthracycline chemotherapy drug that destroys cancer cells by interfering with DNA. Vincristine is a plant alkaloid that works by stopping cancer cells from dividing properly. Prednisolone is a corticosteroid that helps treat lymphoma by stopping cancer cells from growing and killing them. This combination is typically used as part of the CHOP regimen (which also includes cyclophosphamide) for treating non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
