Overview

DPG PRP is an autologous platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy medical device developed by Dermoaroma for aesthetic and cosmetic treatments, particularly skin rejuvenation. The system is a Class IIb medical device that is CE-marked and FDA validated, designed to prepare and administer autologous platelet concentrates enriched with growth factors and cytokines. The process involves drawing the patient's blood into sterile vacuum tubes, centrifuging it to concentrate platelets, and activating them (typically with Calcium Chloride or Batroxobin) before injection into the treatment area. The resulting PRP contains high concentrations of growth factors, such as PDGF, TGF-beta, and VEGF, which stimulate cellular regeneration, collagen synthesis, and tissue repair. Clinically, it is used to eliminate wrinkles, restore facial volume, improve the appearance of acne scars, and accelerate healing following facial peels, offering a non-invasive, biocompatible alternative to synthetic fillers.
