DPX-0907 is a lipid-based, multi-peptide therapeutic cancer vaccine developed using the DepoVax platform. It contains seven HLA-A2-restricted tumor-associated peptide antigens, a universal T helper peptide, and an adjuvant formulated in a lyophilized liposome-in-oil depot system. The selected peptides are derived from breast, ovarian, and prostate cancer cell lines but not from normal cells; they target pathways essential for tumor growth and survival. The vaccine is designed to stimulate antigen-specific CD8+ T cell responses (Type 1/Th1-biased), promoting multifunctional effector memory T cells capable of secreting multiple cytokines associated with anti-tumor activity. Clinical studies demonstrated that DPX-0907 is safe and immunogenic in patients with advanced breast, ovarian, or prostate cancer[3][5][6][10]. However, development has been discontinued after phase 1 trials[2].
