DPX-Neo1 is an investigational cancer vaccine developed using the DPX immune-educating platform. It incorporates a tumor-specific rejection peptide, Neo1, into the proprietary DepoVax (DPX) formulation. The vaccine is designed to stimulate a robust anti-tumor immune response by presenting neopeptides—novel peptides derived from tumor-specific mutations—to the immune system, thereby educating it to recognize and attack cancer cells. Preclinical studies have shown that DPX-Neo1 can prevent or reduce tumor growth in mouse models of cancer, particularly when combined with checkpoint inhibitors such as 9D9. The platform has demonstrated superior immunoprotective effects compared to traditional adjuvants like Montanide and AddaVax[1][2]. The primary indication for DPX-Neo1 is as a personalized therapeutic cancer vaccine targeting neoantigens.
