Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DPX-R9F is a cancer vaccine candidate formulated using the proprietary DepoVax (DPX) platform, which is an adjuvant lipid-in-oil–based delivery system designed to enhance immune responses by facilitating antigen retention at the injection site for sustained immune cell activation. DPX-R9F contains a tumor-associated peptide antigen (R9F) and is under preclinical and translational investigation, primarily aimed at eliciting strong cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) responses against cancers, including cervical cancer models. Studies demonstrate that DPX-R9F triggers antigen-specific immune responses and results in significant tumor suppression in preclinical models via robust CTL recruitment to the tumor and vaccine-draining lymph nodes. Immune monitoring utilizing MRI and ELISPOT confirms increases in immune cell infiltration post-vaccination.
