Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DPX-rHA is an investigational recombinant protein subunit vaccine for the prevention of influenza, developed by BioVaxys Technology Corp. It utilizes the proprietary DPX (DepoVax) delivery platform, a lipid-in-oil formulation designed to facilitate the delivery of antigens to regional lymph nodes and stimulate robust, long-lasting T cell and B cell immune responses. The active component is a recombinant hemagglutinin (rHA) protein. In preclinical studies, DPX-rHA has demonstrated superior antibody durability and protection against multiple influenza strains, including H1N1 and H3N2, compared to standard alum-adjuvanted formulations.
