DR-102

**DR-102** is an investigational 28-day combined oral contraceptive regimen developed by Teva. Each cycle consists of 21 days of desogestrel 0.15 mg plus ethinyl estradiol 0.02 mg tablets, followed by 7 days of ethinyl estradiol 0.01 mg tablets. Desogestrel is a progestin prodrug whose active metabolite, etonogestrel, provides progestogenic feedback that suppresses ovulation; ethinyl estradiol provides estrogenic activity and cycle control. DR-102 was evaluated in completed Phase 3 studies for prevention of pregnancy and in studies of ovarian follicular activity, hormone levels, and hemostatic parameters.
