Overview

DR10628 is a fatty acid-conjugated dual agonist peptide targeting the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) and the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide receptor (GIPR). Developed by Zhejiang Doer Biologics Co., Ltd., it is designed to improve metabolic parameters by mimicking the actions of incretin hormones. The conjugation to a long-chain fatty acid is intended to extend the drug's half-life, allowing for less frequent dosing. Preclinical studies have shown significant efficacy in blood glucose reduction and weight loss. It is currently being investigated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH).
