Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DR5 CAR-T is a Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell immunotherapy developed by Shenzhen BinDeBio Ltd. It involves engineering a patient's T-cells to express a CAR that specifically recognizes and binds to Death Receptor 5 (DR5) on the surface of cancer cells. This binding is intended to activate the CAR-T cells, leading to the destruction of DR5-expressing tumor cells. The therapy is being investigated for the treatment of solid malignancies, with patients receiving pre-treatment with cyclophosphamide or fludarabine before CAR-T cell infusion.
