Overview

Drebuxelimab is a humanized anti-CD73 monoclonal antibody developed by Akeso for cancer immunotherapy. It is designed to inhibit the ecto-5'-nucleotidase CD73 enzyme, thereby reducing production of immunosuppressive adenosine in the tumor microenvironment and potentially enhancing antitumor immune responses; company materials also describe immune activation effects involving B-cell-mediated responses to tumor antigens and viruses. Publicly described clinical development has focused on Phase 1 and Phase 1b/2 studies in advanced solid tumors, including microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer and EGFR-mutant non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer, largely in combination regimens such as with ivonescimab or cadonilimab.
