**DROPsept** is a CE-marked Class IIB ophthalmic medical-device eye-drop product developed by Iromed. It is a multidose topical ophthalmic solution containing chlorhexidine digluconate and vitamin E TPGS, formulated to enhance chlorhexidine availability in corneal tissue. The product is used as an adjunct to protect and support repair of corneal and conjunctival epithelium and for symptoms associated with ocular-surface inflammation, including conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis, dacryocystitis, meibomitis, and dry eye syndrome. It is also positioned for presurgical and postsurgical ocular-infection prophylaxis and is compatible with contact lenses.
