Overview

DS-30232 is a small molecule inhibitor of the **MET** (Mesenchymal-epithelial transition factor) receptor tyrosine kinase, also known as the hepatocyte growth factor receptor (HGFR). Developed through a partnership between **Rigel Pharmaceuticals** and **Daiichi Sankyo**, the compound originated from Rigel's oncology pipeline. MET signaling is frequently dysregulated in various cancers, promoting tumor cell proliferation, survival, and metastasis. DS-30232 was investigated in clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and acute myeloid leukemia (AML), both as a monotherapy and in combination with other agents. However, development of the asset appears to have stalled or been discontinued by Daiichi Sankyo in recent years.
