**DS-8201-ICG** is an investigational HER2-targeted near-infrared-II fluorescent theranostic probe constructed by conjugating trastuzumab deruxtecan with indocyanine green. The construct is intended to retain HER2-directed tumor binding while enabling deep-tissue fluorescence imaging, intraoperative tumor-margin delineation, and detection of small HER2-positive breast-cancer lesions. In an orthotopic mouse model, DS-8201-ICG produced tumor-selective NIR-II fluorescence after administration and was studied as a potential imaging-guided strategy for HER2-positive breast cancer, including trastuzumab deruxtecan-resistant disease.
