Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DS010 is an investigational humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Dartsbio Pharmaceuticals (also known as Dashi Pharmaceutical) for the treatment of cancer cachexia. It is designed to target and neutralize Growth Differentiation Factor 15 (GDF15), a stress-induced cytokine that plays a central role in the development of cachexia by signaling through the GFRAL receptor in the hindbrain to suppress appetite and promote weight loss. By inhibiting GDF15, DS010 aims to reverse muscle wasting and improve body weight and quality of life in patients with advanced malignancies. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in patients with cancer-associated cachexia.
