DT3aP-HBs-IPV is a combination vaccine designed to protect against five infectious diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, and poliomyelitis. The name indicates the inclusion of three-component acellular pertussis antigens (DT3aP), hepatitis B surface antigen (HBs), and inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV). This type of pentavalent or hexavalent vaccine is used primarily in pediatric immunization schedules to reduce the number of injections required for broad protection.
