Overview

This is a combination immunization regimen consisting of three vaccines: **DTaP-IPV-Hep B-Hib (PRP~T):** A hexavalent combination vaccine that provides active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), poliomyelitis, hepatitis B, and invasive disease due to Haemophilus influenzae type b. The PRP~T component refers to the Haemophilus influenzae type b polysaccharide conjugated to tetanus protein. This combination reduces the number of injections required in early childhood vaccination schedules and is highly immunogenic and safe[1][4][5]. **Prevenar 13:** A pneumococcal conjugate vaccine containing polysaccharides from 13 serotypes of Streptococcus pneumoniae, each individually conjugated to a non-toxic variant of diphtheria toxin as carrier protein. It induces immunity against invasive pneumococcal diseases such as pneumonia and meningitis caused by these serotypes[6]. **Rotarix:** An oral live attenuated human rotavirus vaccine used for the prevention of rotavirus gastroenteritis in infants. All three are administered during infancy according to national immunization schedules for broad protection against multiple serious childhood infections.
