Overview

DTcP-Hib-MCV4 is a hexavalent combination vaccine candidate being developed by Ningbo Rong'an Biological Pharmaceutical, a subsidiary of AIM Vaccine Co., Ltd. This vaccine is designed to provide simultaneous protection against five major pediatric infectious diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) infection, and meningococcal disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis serogroups A, C, W, and Y. The formulation utilizes a combination of toxoids for diphtheria and tetanus, acellular pertussis antigens (DTcP), and polysaccharide-protein conjugates for Hib and the four meningococcal serogroups. By integrating these components into a single injection, the vaccine aims to simplify immunization schedules, reduce the number of clinical visits, and improve overall vaccination coverage and compliance in infants and children. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
