Drug intelligence / Profile preview
DTPA-AMB8LK is a preclinical chelator-antibody conjugate comprising the anti-ferritin monoclonal antibody AMB8LK linked to benzyl-diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid. The antibody recognizes human ferritin, including tumor-associated H-ferritin, which is overexpressed in pancreatic adenocarcinoma. The DTPA chelator enables radiolabeling with indium-111 for SPECT imaging or yttrium-90 for targeted radioimmunotherapy. In CAPAN-1 pancreatic adenocarcinoma xenograft models, radiolabeled Bz-DTPA-AMB8LK demonstrated tumor localization and was proposed as a candidate for further therapeutic evaluation.
