DTwP-Hib vaccine

DTwP-Hib vaccine is a quadrivalent combination vaccine developed by Biological E. Limited (BioE) for pediatric use. It consists of diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid, killed whole-cell *Bordetella pertussis* organisms, and purified capsular polysaccharide of *Haemophilus influenzae* type b (Hib) conjugated to a carrier protein (typically tetanus toxoid). The vaccine is intended to provide active immunization against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, and invasive diseases caused by Hib. By combining these antigens, the vaccine reduces the number of injections required for infants, improving compliance with national immunization programs. The whole-cell pertussis component provides a broad range of antigens to stimulate a robust immune response, while the Hib conjugate component ensures immunogenicity in young children.
