Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Duanjin Jiedu is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Yunnan Mingjing Henry Pharmaceutical for the treatment of opioid use disorder and the management of withdrawal symptoms. It is primarily used to alleviate the physical and psychological distress associated with heroin or opium cessation. The formulation typically consists of multiple botanical ingredients, including *Corydalis yanhusuo* and *Aconitum carmichaelii*, which work synergistically to modulate the central nervous system. It is thought to exert its therapeutic effects by interacting with the Mu-type opioid receptor and modulating the dopaminergic system, thereby reducing cravings and physical dependence. It has been approved and marketed in China as a non-addictive alternative for detoxification.
