Overview

Duerwei Capsule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) combination product developed by Gansu Duyiwei Biological Pharmaceutical. It is formulated from the extracts of *Lamiophlomis rotata* (Du Yiwei) and *Erigeron breviscapus* (Dengzhanxixin). The capsule is designed to treat acute soft tissue injuries characterized by "blood stasis syndrome," a TCM pattern involving localized pain, swelling, and congestion. The therapeutic effects are attributed to the synergistic action of its components, which provide analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and hemostatic benefits, as well as improvement in local microcirculation. It has undergone Phase 3 clinical testing in China to evaluate its efficacy and safety compared to the standard Du Yiwei Capsule.
