Duke-3M-IDRI vaccine

The **Duke-3M-IDRI vaccine** is a preclinical **adjuvanted coronavirus vaccine candidate** being developed through a collaboration among **Duke Human Vaccine Institute**, **Infectious Disease Research Institute**, and **3M**. It combines a **Duke-developed nanoparticle immunogen** with **3M-052/Alum**, an alum-based adjuvant formulation containing **3M-052**, a **Toll-like receptor 7 and Toll-like receptor 8 agonist** intended to enhance the magnitude and breadth of vaccine-induced immunity. The program is designed as a **broadly protective pan-coronavirus vaccine** aimed primarily at **prevention of SARS-CoV-2 infection and COVID-19**, while also eliciting broadly neutralizing antibody responses against multiple SARS-CoV-2 variants and other coronaviruses, including bat coronaviruses.
