Dulaglutide biosimilar, also known as "14028 injection" or "HEC14028", is a biosimilar to dulaglutide (Trulicity), a long-acting glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It's developed to match the pharmacokinetics, safety, and immunogenicity profile of Trulicity. Dulaglutide acts by binding to and activating the GLP-1 receptor, which increases insulin secretion in response to high blood glucose levels and suppresses glucagon secretion. This mechanism helps improve glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes.
