Overview

This is a combination regimen consisting of **dulanermin** (a recombinant human Apo2L/TRAIL that induces apoptosis in tumor cells), **FOLFOX** (a chemotherapy combination of folinic acid, fluorouracil, and oxaliplatin used primarily for colorectal cancer), and **bevacizumab** (a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor A/VEGF-A, inhibiting angiogenesis). This investigational combination targets malignant cells through multiple antineoplastic mechanisms: direct apoptosis induction (dulanermin), cytotoxic chemotherapy (FOLFOX), and angiogenesis inhibition (bevacizumab). FOLFOX is most often used intravenously as cycles for 12-24 weeks in metastatic or advanced colorectal carcinoma; bevacizumab is used IV as an adjunct to chemotherapy in several cancers including colorectal cancer.
