Overview

Dultavax + Vaxigrip refers to the co-administration of two separate vaccines manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur, primarily utilized in clinical research to evaluate immune responses and potential interactions. Dultavax is a trivalent booster vaccine containing reduced-dose diphtheria toxoid, tetanus toxoid, and inactivated poliovirus (types 1, 2, and 3), indicated for active immunization in adults and children from 6 years of age. Vaxigrip is an inactivated influenza vaccine (traditionally trivalent) used for the prevention of seasonal flu. This specific combination has been utilized in studies examining the impact of iron deficiency anemia on vaccine efficacy in populations such as young women in Morocco. Both vaccines are biologics administered via intramuscular injection.
