Overview

**DUO-207** is a tumor-activated ultrasmall nanomedicine developed by Duo Oncology as a fixed-dose combination of copolymer-conjugated gemcitabine and encapsulated paclitaxel. The approximately 20 nm self-assembled polymeric nanoparticle is designed for intravenous administration, prolonged intratumoral retention, controlled tumor-microenvironment-triggered release of gemcitabine and paclitaxel, deeper penetration of stroma-rich tumors, and lower systemic exposure than separately administered gemcitabine plus nab-paclitaxel. It is being developed as a chemotherapy backbone for metastatic pancreatic cancer and other solid tumors, including lung and breast cancers.
