The duocarmycin-based OHPAS payload is a proprietary payload-linker technology developed by IntoCell for use in the construction of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). It utilizes **duocarmycin**, a potent DNA minor-groove-binding alkylating agent, as the cytotoxic payload. This payload is coupled with IntoCell's proprietary **OHPAS** (Orthogonal Hydroxy Protected Azide System) linker platform, which is designed to provide high systemic stability and triggered, efficient release of the drug within target tumor cells. The OHPAS technology allows for precise control over the drug-to-antibody ratio (DAR) and aims to improve the therapeutic index of ADCs by minimizing off-target toxicity. IntoCell licenses this technology to various biopharmaceutical companies and contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs), such as Piramal Pharma Solutions and Xcellon Biologics, for the development of next-generation targeted cancer therapies.
